+The Vein is a long narrow city built apon the spine of an ancient arch bridge that crosses the shallower regions of Loch Greycastle. It branches out from [[places:the_tenebrous_empire:hartspire|Hartspire]] heading west to [[places:the_tenebrous_empire:maradov|Maradov]] and East to [[places:the_tenebrous_empire:Krovil|]] with smaller spurs that stop at the small forested islands of the lake.

The reason for this massive population on such a small surface area comes from the supernatural power that seems to eminate from Loch Greycastle itself. For when you are above or in the lake and you happen to perish, there is a small chance you will not stay still for long.

In some places buildings have nearly completely obstructed the path forward and you must go down to the secondary arch bridge below or utilize the free to use cable car system that stretches across the city.
