===== Location =====

Krovil is a sprawling city built on the northeast shores of Loch Greycastle. It is nestled into the cliffs of the Grey Crown Mountains. rising in walled terraced districts that curl up into a cloistered valley that is never touched by the cloying southern sun. 

===== Architecture and Design =====

The architecture is a mixture of New and Old Krovic. The buildings are made of carved multi toned wood and hewn grey brick. Most window glass is stained with heavy curtains. The rooftops are steep and narrow, and the lower districts can often be quite mazelike requiring a map or a guide through the narrower poorly lit streets. Each lantern is fueled by blood so economical placement of streetlights has been exercised.

The city is ruled by [[gods:the_scarlet_prince|The Scarlet Prince]] and his council of High Courtiers all of whom are also some of the first vampires he has personally turned.

The First Childe - **Nina Klosek-Grimwald** - Oldest friend of the Grande Prince and first turned after he was given the gift of 'divinity'

The Second Childe - **Lucia Krov** - Original Ruler of Krovil has been missing for years after a private dispute during the Tumult presumed dead

The Third Childe - **Riose Ossick** - Head of the house of Ossick An awe inspiring Artisan who heads one of the most prestigious houses of nobles in Krovil all members of which are also artists - Went missing Prior to the Tumult Records regarding Riose are lost to the mists

The Fourth Childe - **Jasper Ventchill** - Advocate for mortal rights owns many of the greenhouses that feed the more sun inclined members of Krovil's Capital. 

The Fifth Childe - **Cirrox Moss** - The Grande Prince's advisor and confidant Is rarely seen when he's not by the Prince's side

The Sixth Childe - **Maeve Wallorin** -The Rebel and rumoured to be part of counter culture movements that criticize vampire rule. Often keeps Her father In Check . 

===== City Life =====

The populace is primarily human and other mundane races following the rule of the vampires who make up most of the upper class. Blood tithing and a healthy hard night's work are expected of the lower classes. Heavy pollution from manufacturing and blood processing has made the lower districts an especially noxious place to live.
