Hartspire is the Seat of the Tenebrian Empire and home to Grim Doros Greycastle, the undying ruler of the valley.

It is a palace built into the mountainside of an island forested with evergreen with sheer impassible cliffs. It is in the northeastern region of Loch Greycastle. The structure is made of the same sturdy grey and blue stones that form the arches of The Vein Upper reaches of the spire have gilded stonework and polished copper roofing. It was these portions of the building that avoided being consumed by the mists of The Tumult Truly a beacon of hope for the realm. A light of warmth in a land of unrelenting ice.

Hartspire is home to the Tenebrian archives and is built to withstand a near indefinite siege.

Hartspire Layout

Hartspire is 2170 meters (7200 ft) tall from base to the tip of its tallest spire

It has 700 stories roughly 3 meters tall each. Some of these floors are primarily used for cultivation of plants and isolation of magic artifacts others are open to the public as well

At its widest the tower has a 60 meter (197 ft) diameter

Floors 1-3

(Many of these rooms span three stories either through high ceilings, Balconies or individual Staircases all windows on these floors are 3 stories tall long and narrow with Krovic stained glass )

The Entry (Main) Hall (1 - ALL) Spreading out from the massive doors and adorned with art, fine wallpaper and carvings and a pair of long sweeping stairs that coil up around its circumference this hall is the backbone of Hartspire. A massive intricate sculpture that doubles as a chandelier hangs down the center of the stairwell illuminating the space with lavender light. Each of the doors on the main level are double wide and two stories tall. Adorned with Krovic stained glass and delicate Maradovian metalwork.

To prevent accident and because sometimes a lich wants small joys in unlife, a novel use the featherfall spell is ensourced into the railing of the third floor balcony cushioning any fall from a great height.
