Krovil

Krovil is a sprawling city built on the northeast shores of Loch Greycastle. It is nestled into the cliffs of the Grey Crown Mountains. rising in walled terraced districts that curl up into a cloistered valley that is never touched by the cloying southern sun.

The architecture is a mixture of New and Old Krovic. The buildings are made of carved multi toned wood and hewn grey brick. Most window glass is stained with heavy curtains. The rooftops are steep and narrow, and the lower districts can often be quite mazelike requiring a map or a guide through the narrower poorly lit streets. Each lantern is fueled by blood so economical placement of streetlights has been exercised.

The city is ruled by The Scarlet Prince and his council of High Courtiers all of whom are also some of the first vampires he has personally turned.

The populace is primarily human and other mundane races following the rule of the vampires who make up most of the upper class. Blood tithing and a healthy hard night's work are expected of the lower classes. Heavy pollution from manufacturing and blood processing has made the lower districts an especially noxious place to live.
