A year tracks the amount of time it takes to cycle through all of the seasons.

Previous to The Tumult a different system was used to track the passage of years, but due to the extreme nature of the event and the establishment of this archive anything denoted as The Tumult, a Zero 0, or The Lost Years, in this archive represents the innumerable years that the world spent struggling under the veil of the mist.

Any year denoted by a negative number or BT, Before Tumult denotes established dates that are easily tracked prior to the event.

The years to follow the establishment of the archive will be referred to by positive numbers, AT or After Tumult.

Shortly after establishing these archives, and improving conditions in the empire, radio contact was reestablished with Bonecliff Another community recovering from the disaster. For Record Consistency we established a shared system of year tracking in their database.

There are four seasons separated by four festivals.

Evernoct Gala - Festival - 2 Nights

Algiddark -Season - 88 Nights or 22 Pulses

Hartpyre Festival - Festival - 2 Nights

The Waning -Season - 88 Nights or 22 Pulses

Zenith's Cloistering -Festival - 2 Nights

Kindlespark -Season - 88 Nights or 22 Pulses

Crimson Harvest -Festival - 2 Nights

Frostide -Season - 88 Nights or 22 Pulses

Much like a heart, or the cycling of the seasons we have four nights in a pulse Many superstitions and traditions have circulated about nights of the pulse.

Dextranoct:

Starting off the Pulse with orderliness and reasonable expectations once more, Dextranoct The most ordinary and respectable of nights.

Zephiranoct:

A day of interaction and communication, Work shifts are traditionally halved on this day to invite a re invigoration of the populace.

Sinestranoct:

If you are about take on an unconventional endeavor, its best you save it for Sinestranoct. Experiments, gambling and new rituals seem to be more successful on this night.

Corpranoct:

One's greatest work is often completed on Corpranoct. It is most natural to feel Invigorated this night.

Nocts or Nights are tracked by the shifting cast shadows and darkness that envelops the city. The cities come alive at night. Truly our most productive and precious hours.
